ABOUT ME
I am currently a PhD student in the lab of Dr. Emily Moran at UC Merced. My previous work has focused on: effects of water quality on benthic ecology; mammal response to ecological restoration; phytoremediation (the use of plants to remove contaminants from soils); avian community dynamics in response to forest management; and disturbance effects on forests in the form of biological legacies. I recieved my BS in 2011 and my MS in 2015, both in Environmental Science with an option in Applied Ecology. My primary interests lay in forest ecology with respect to climate change and disturbance, but I am broadly interested in how ecological processes at various scales interact with and respond to both land use and climate change.
